Scale Model Accessories is a specialist company which designs and produces its own range of military models, to the modelling and collector markets.Products are reproduced, in detail, into two popular modelling scales and are categorised into specific ranges i.e.: vehicles, figures and accessories.Our accessory range also covers items, manufactured by others, to include etched brass detail sets and transfer decal sheets, reproduced to our own high quality standards. We market and sell to customers, throughout the world, through our mail order based in house system, to ensure guaranteed delivery. |

Company History
|
Two brothers, Gordon and David Tweddle formed the company, Scale Model Accessories, in late 1989, in partnership to supply a market for high quality scaled military models.This company, small in size, is London based and incorporates now, both in house design and manufacturing facilities. |

 | Operating over a ten-year period, the company first started marketing a range of high quality photoetched detail sets and specialist books, aimed at the 1/35th modelling markets. Building on the back of these items, SMA decided to produce its own figure range. In 1990/91 with sales increasing steadily, the company decided to produce the first in our line of military scaled vehicles. From this point on the company built on these ranges for a number of years with additional products to each respective range.
This continued until 1997 it was decided to expand into the small-scale market, producing a number of vehicles, figures and accessories (decals and photoetched brass parts) sets. This newly formed range, with now over 100 various items, was called Small Scale Productions and still continues to manufacture and market its own products to this day.
Both 1/35th and 1/76 scale ranges today still continue to manufacture and market interesting and rare products, thanks to the continuing support of the modelling and collector markets.
